Meet Maurice Luster
Maurice Luster · Owner
Maurice “Mo” Luster owns 7B Moving. He started in the moving industry in 2015, after he moved to Coeur d'Alene, met a local moving company owner and decided moving was the work he wanted to do.
He was trained by an experienced Idaho mover and became an Operations Manager within a year. He then started a moving company from the ground up with a friend, and later took over 7B Moving when its previous owner was about to close it.
Maurice runs 7B Moving as a family-owned business with over 20 years of experience.
Our story
7B Moving is a family-owned moving company based at 3535 N Government Way in Coeur d'Alene, with a second office serving Sandpoint and Ponderay. Each move is run from the closer office, which cuts travel time and travel cost for the customer.
The company runs four company trucks and adds rental trucks as needed. It has six two-person crews, one in Sandpoint and five in Coeur d'Alene, and keeps the same pairs working together.
The company moves homes and businesses across North Idaho, Eastern Washington and western Montana, and moves customers to and from anywhere in the United States.
Services cover local moves, long-distance and interstate moves, office and business relocations, military moves, labor-only loading and unloading, packing and unpacking, and specialty items such as pianos, gun safes, hot tubs and pool tables.
Crews wrap furniture in moving pads and protect floors, doorways and railings at both homes. Most local moves are finished in one day, and same-day moves are possible when a crew is available.
For customers who need storage between homes, 7B Moving works with Store Local Storage and Bulldog Self Storage. Financing through Wisetack is available on moving jobs up to $25,000, subject to credit approval.
