What we do in Coeur d'Alene
How a move gets planned and run
Each move is run from the closer of the two offices, in Coeur d'Alene or Sandpoint. That cuts travel time and travel cost for you. Coeur d'Alene is the Kootenai County seat, on the north shore of Lake Coeur d'Alene.
On moving day, crews wrap furniture in moving pads and protect floors, doorways and railings at both homes. Most local moves are finished in one day.
Different moves need different setups. Find the one that matches yours, then use it to describe the job when you ask for an estimate.
Local Moving
For a move within Coeur d'Alene or to nearby towns like Hayden, Post Falls or Rathdrum. Local moves are billed by the hour for the crew and truck.
Long-Distance Moving
For moves to or from anywhere in the United States, including Eastern Washington. These depend on the size of the load, the distance and any extra services.
Commercial Moving
For offices and businesses that need to relocate. Tell us about the layout, the furniture and equipment, and any stairs or long carries.
Military Moves
For service members on a move. Check your orders or your installation transportation office first to see which costs can be reimbursed.
Labor-Only Moving Help
You bring the truck, trailer or container, and the movers load or unload it. You handle the driving and the vehicle. This is billed by the hour.
Packing Services
Help packing and unpacking when you are short on time or have fragile items. Say up front how much you want packed so the estimate fits.
Specialty Item Moving
Pianos, gun safes, hot tubs and pool tables need special equipment and a planned route. Share the size, weight and any steps or tight doorways.

Customer reviews & pricing
-
7B went out of their way to accommodate my moving needs. I was late for my appointment, and Ryan waited patiently. He was prompt, presentable, and patient. He even got out the tape measure first before just trying to smash the furniture through the door, so he made sure everything fit first, and did not damage anything. Maurice and Tisha, Owners, are very personable and they respond in a quick manner of fashion. Good Christian people, with great service!!!

What affects the price
7B Moving does not publish price lists. Each move is quoted on its own, and every move gets a free estimate based on the details below.
| Job | What affects the quote |
|---|---|
| Local Moving | Billed by the hour for the crew and truck |
| Long-Distance Moving | Shipment size, distance and the services you choose |
| Commercial Moving | Office size, equipment, timing and distance |
| Military Moves | Household size, distance and the services your orders cover |

- Home or office size: The more furniture, boxes and equipment you have, the more crew time and truck space the move takes.
- Stairs and access: Stairs, long carries from the door to the truck and tight driveways can add time to loading and unloading.
- Distance: Local moves are billed by the hour. Longer moves also depend on how far the load travels.
- Packing help: Packing and unpacking add labor. Tell us which rooms or items you want packed.
- Specialty items: Pianos, gun safes, hot tubs and pool tables call for extra equipment and planning, so list them early.

Questions we get
What should I tell you when I ask for an estimate?
Give the pickup and delivery towns, the type and size of the home or office, any stairs or long carries, and any specialty items. Also say whether you want packing help and when you would like to move. That gives a clear picture of the job.
How are local moves and long-distance moves priced differently?
A local move is usually quoted by the hour for the crew and truck. A long-distance move is usually quoted from the weight or volume of the load, the distance and extra services. Local moves and labor-only help with 7B Moving are billed by the hour.
Can you move a piano, gun safe, hot tub or pool table?
Yes, these are part of the specialty item services. Before moving day, tell the crew the size, weight and route through the house, including steps and doorways. Hot tubs must be drained and disconnected, and safes should be emptied.
What is labor-only moving help?
You supply the truck, trailer or container, and the movers load or unload it. You are responsible for driving and for the vehicle. It suits people who want strong help with the heavy work but already have their own transportation.
Can you help with storage between homes?
If your move dates do not line up, 7B Moving works with Store Local Storage and Bulldog Self Storage. Let us know early that you need storage so it can be part of the plan for your move.
Can I finance a move?
Financing through Wisetack is available on moving jobs up to $25,000, subject to credit approval. Ask about it when you request your estimate so you know your options before you book.
