What we handle
How a move out of the area comes together
Each move is run from the closer of the Sandpoint and Coeur d'Alene offices. That cuts travel time and travel cost for you.
You tell us what is moving, where it is going and your preferred date. From that we build the inventory and plan the pickup and delivery window.
Long-distance moves raise questions that a short local move does not. These are the ones we help you sort out first.
Moving to another state
Whether you are leaving for work, family or a fresh start, we move homes and businesses to and from anywhere in the United States.
Not knowing what the move will cost
Every move gets a free estimate based on your home or office, the distance, stairs and access, packing and any specialty items.
Packing a whole home
Packing and unpacking help is available if you do not want to box up every room yourself. Tell us how much you want done.
Pianos, gun safes, hot tubs and pool tables
We move these specialty items. Share the size, weight and route through the house so the crew arrives with the right plan.
A gap between homes
If your dates do not line up, 7B Moving works with Store Local Storage and Bulldog Self Storage for storage between homes.
Protecting both homes
Crews wrap furniture in moving pads and protect floors, doorways and railings at the pickup and the delivery.
Moving an office out of state
Office and business relocations follow the same planning: an inventory, a pickup date and a delivery window that fits your workday.

Photos from our jobs
Look at how much room the truck needs at each driveway and how the furniture is wrapped and rolled up the ramp. Those details matter on a long haul.

Customer reviews & pricing
-
7B went out of their way to accommodate my moving needs. I was late for my appointment, and Ryan waited patiently. He was prompt, presentable, and patient. He even got out the tape measure first before just trying to smash the furniture through the door, so he made sure everything fit first, and did not damage anything. Maurice and Tisha, Owners, are very personable and they respond in a quick manner of fashion. Good Christian people, with great service!!!

Moving is such a pain, but it was so easy with 7B. Maurice and his crew were absolutely amazing!! I hope I don’t have to move again anytime soon, but if I do, 7B are going to be the first people I call! Definitely recommend!

What affects the price
Long-distance moves are usually priced from the size of the shipment, the distance and the services you add. We do not publish a price list. Each move is quoted on its own details.
| Job | What affects the quote |
|---|---|
| Long-Distance Moving | Shipment size, distance and the services you choose |
- Size of the shipment: More rooms and more belongings mean more weight or volume to move, which usually means more crew time and truck space.
- Distance: The farther the delivery, the more the trip adds to the cost. Pickup and delivery towns are the first details we ask for.
- Packing and unpacking: Packing a few fragile items is a smaller job than packing a whole home. Tell us how much help you want.
- Specialty items: Pianos, gun safes, hot tubs and pool tables need extra equipment and planning, so list them up front.
- Stairs, carries and driveway access: Stairs, long carries from the door to the truck and tight driveways change the time it takes to load and unload.

Questions we get
Do you move people out of state?
Yes. 7B Moving moves homes and businesses across North Idaho and Eastern Washington, and to and from anywhere in the United States. Tell us the pickup and delivery towns, the size of your home or office and your preferred date, and we will build the plan around that.
What kind of estimate should I ask for on an interstate move?
Interstate estimates come in three forms. A non-binding estimate follows the actual weight and services. A binding estimate is an agreed price for the listed goods and services. A binding not-to-exceed estimate cannot go above the quote but can come in lower. Ask which one you are getting.
What protection applies if something is lost or damaged?
Ask about valuation before you book. Valuation is the mover's liability for loss or damage. It is not insurance. On interstate moves there is typically a basic option and a full value option, and the full value option costs more. Ask what each covers for your shipment.
What can't go on the moving truck?
Movers cannot carry hazardous materials such as propane tanks, gasoline, paint, aerosol cans, ammunition, pool chemicals or cleaning chemicals. Keep cash, jewelry, important documents and perishable food with you. Plants can struggle on long trips, so plan to bring them yourself.
Can I store my belongings if my dates do not match?
Yes, if you need storage between homes. 7B Moving works with Store Local Storage and Bulldog Self Storage. Mention the gap in your dates when you ask for your estimate so storage can be part of the plan.
When should I book a long-distance move?
Book early. Late spring through early fall is the busiest moving season in the region, and early booking gives you a better choice of dates. Winter moves from rural properties may need extra planning for snow, gravel roads and long driveways.
