How a same-day move works
Call 7B Moving as early in the day as you can. The office checks which crews are free and whether your job fits the time left in the day. If a crew can take it, you agree on a pickup time on the call before anyone heads your way.
A same-day move depends on the schedule. On a busy day every crew may already be booked, and the office will tell you so on the call. When that happens, ask about the next open date instead of waiting on a maybe.
Who shows up at your door
7B Moving has six two-person crews and keeps the same pairs working together, so the two movers at your door are used to working as a team. A crew is based at the Sandpoint / Ponderay office and the rest work out of Coeur d'Alene. Each move is run from the closer office.
The company runs four company trucks and adds rental trucks as needed, which helps when a short-notice job comes in on a full day.
What to have ready when you call
Have the pickup and delivery addresses, the size of the home or the list of items, any stairs or long carries, and anything heavy such as a piano, gun safe or hot tub. The clearer the picture, the faster the office can tell you whether a crew can make it today.
If it turns out today will not work, the same details give you a head start on an estimate for the next available date.
Related questions
Does 7B Moving do same-day moves?
Yes, when a crew is available. Same-day moves depend on the day's schedule, so they are never promised in advance. Call the office as early as you can, describe the move, and they will tell you whether a crew can take it today.
What is the fastest way to book a same-day move?
Call 7B Moving. The office can check which crews are free while you are on the phone. A form request waits for a callback, so for a move today a phone call is the quickest way to get an answer.
Which areas can get a same-day move?
Same-day moves follow the same service area as every other 7B Moving job, across North Idaho and Eastern Washington. Each move is run from the closer office, Coeur d'Alene or Sandpoint / Ponderay, and whether a crew can reach you today depends on the schedule.
What if no crew is free today?
The office will tell you on the call and help you find the next open date. Sharing your addresses, home size, stairs and any heavy items on that call means your estimate is ready to go when a date opens up.
