He even got out the tape measure first before just trying to smash the furniture through the door, so he made sure everything fit first, and did not damage anything. Movers cannot carry hazardous materials such as propane tanks, gasoline, paint, aerosol cans, ammunition, pool chemicals or cleaning chemicals. Keep cash, jewelry, important documents and perishable food with you. If you ask about valuation, remember it is the mover's liability for loss or damage and is not insurance.
