On moving day the crew wraps furniture in moving pads and protects floors, doorways and railings at both homes. Then they load, drive and unload. Most local moves are finished in a single day.

House and apartment moves
The crew loads your furniture and boxes, drives to the new address and unloads there. You stay free to handle keys, cleaning and the people and pets in your life.
Condo and storage unit moves

Stairs, long carries and tight access
Stairs, a long walk from the door to the truck and a narrow driveway all add handling time. Tell us about them up front so the estimate matches your real day.

Packing and unpacking help

Loading or unloading only

7B went out of their way to accommodate my moving needs. I was late for my appointment, and Ryan waited patiently. He was prompt, presentable, and patient. He even got out the tape measure first before just trying to smash the furniture through the door, so he made sure everything fit first, and did not damage anything. Maurice and Tisha, Owners, are very personable and they respond in a quick manner of fashion. Good Christian people, with great service!!!

Maurice and his guys were absolutely fantastic! I had to move twice in four months unfortunately. They took care of both moves. The price was reasonable. The guys were on time and took care of my things with loving care as well as the homes I was living in. it was the least stressful move. I’ve ever done because the guys were so good. I didn’t have to micromanage them and I could relax a little bit and go have lunch, etc. Absolutely super wonderful company to work with and I highly recommend them. I would like to add that the communication with Maurice is excellent. When he realized what the Landlords had done in making me move, he offered extra help, just to help with the situation. The 2 young men were professional all the way. 7B also offers several different discounts. There is a 3 hour minimum. Pack and move as much as you can yourself. I will use 7B Moving next time I move.

What should I tell you when I ask for an estimate?
Share the pickup and delivery towns, the type and size of the home or office, any stairs or long carries, specialty items, whether you want packing help and your preferred move date. The more detail you give, the closer the estimate.
When should I book a local move?
Late spring through early fall is the busiest moving season in the region, so booking early gives you more date choices. Winter moves on rural properties may need extra planning for snow, gravel roads and long driveways.
What can't go on the truck?
Movers cannot carry hazardous materials such as propane tanks, gasoline, paint, aerosol cans, ammunition, pool chemicals or cleaning chemicals. Keep cash, jewelry, important documents and perishable food with you instead.
Can I hire help just for loading or unloading?
Yes. With labor-only help you supply the truck, trailer or container, and the movers load or unload it. You are responsible for the vehicle and the driving. Like other local work, it is billed by the hour.
How do I prepare a hot tub or gun safe for moving?
A hot tub must be drained and disconnected before the crew arrives. A gun safe should be emptied. For any heavy item, tell the movers its size, its weight and the route through your home, including steps and doorways.
